Software engineer for PVA Crystal Growing Systems GmbH
In the field of crystal-growing systems, we work on behalf of our international customers to develop and build systems in which crystals can be produced for the highly innovative semiconductor and photovoltaics markets.
Your primary responsibilities:
- Independently modifying software to suit the requirements and functions of machinery and processes using the latest technologies
- Programming and checking interfaces for automating and linking external components
- Assisting our project managers and helping with system commissioning
- Training our customers and helping to test technical machine processes
- Maintaining, optimizing, and aiding in the innovative evolution of software, with plenty of creative freedom to coordinate and perform your tasks independently
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (university of applied sciences) in electrical engineering, automation engineering, or mechatronics, or a comparable qualification
- Good to excellent programming skills relating to PLCs (S7), visualization (e.g. Intouch, WinCC), and databases
- Knowledge of field bus systems (PROFIBUS, PROFINET)
- Experience in project development for control and drive systems
- Good technical knowledge
- Good spoken and written English
- Sound knowledge of Windows and MS Office
- Willingness to travel
- Flexibility and teamwork
